Xiaoping Path

During the Great Cultural Revolution, Deng Xiaoping worked and lived in Xinjian County. To memorize him, people there named the country path where he ever walked as “Xiaoping Path”. Now, Xiaoping Path is not only a patriotic education demonstrating base, but also a park of education, memorial and leisure.

The Meiling Mountain Scenic Spot

The Meiling Mountain is located in the west suburb of Nanchang, by the bank of Poyang Lake, covering an area of 150 square kilometers. It is a 4-A scenic spot. The Meiling Mountain is one of the holy lands of Buddhism and Taoism with precipitous mountains and humanistic landscapes.

The Qingshan Lake Scenic Spot

The Qingshan Lake is located in the northeast of Nanchang City, covering a water area of 4,600 mu. The Qingshan Lake used to be badly polluted, but now it has become an integrated scenic spot with flood disputing, sightseeing and entertaining after comprehensive improvement.

The Xiang Lake Scenic Spot

The Xiang Lake is located in the south of Nanchang City, covering a water area of 6,800 mu. It got the name because its shape is like an elephant. After planning and improving, the Xiang Lake Scenic Spot has become a comprehensive scenic spot with Chinese classic garden style.

The Anyi Ancient Village

The Anyi Ancient Village is a well-preserved national cultural heritage which covers an area of about 3 kilometers. Until now, more than 120 ancient houses of the Ming and Qing Dynasties have been preserved which permeate the Gan Businessmen’s strong cultural spirit and Chinese people’s filial piety morality and feelings.

The Autumn Water Square

The whole square covers an area of 80,000 square meters, of which the fountain pool covers an area of about 12,000 square meters. The major fountain can reach the height of 128 meters.

The Tianxiang Park

The Tianxiang Park won the Shanghai Guinness as the Urban Scenic Site with the Most Migrating Birds and is named a Protection Center of Migrating Birds of the World by the Birds Protection Center of the UN.

南昌市城区常住人口两年后将超过250万

南昌道路运管部门全力备战春运

昨天上午，我市召开2010年春节道路运输工作会议，就春运期间如何保障广大旅客安全、便捷、舒适、有序出行，保障居民生活必需品、重点物资运输等工作进行了部署。据预测，今年春运期间，我市道路旅客运输量将达359万人次左右，与去年同比增长3.1%。
